This fan fic was written by Tasha (bluewhiskers28@hotmail.com) Kiss Cha-cha stood at the edge of a steep cliff, gazing down at the dazzling and picture-perfect view that stole her of words. The rock she was on struck a bit of wonder for her, because it seemed like she hadn't seen the formation before. She hardly left the castle because of her great longing for her childhood friend Riiya. His grandfather pulled him away from them when he turned thirteen to train and receive the merits a member of the wolf clan, and brought him to a far away place. She could not follow him to the place where was going to, for she was not a wolf, and so she sadly bid goodbye to Riiya. Knowing it was going to take him at least ten years for him to come back, the once bright and lively red-hooded magician could only huddle at the corner of her room and await his return. It was her mother who noticed this. She tried to bring back the cheerful smile on her face through toys, dresses, games, and even new friends, but nothing worked. "But you must at least have a breath of fresh air, my child," the Queen pleaded to her. "Please, go out for me Cha-cha..." Noticing her mother's suffering because of her, she finally gave in, and made it a point to visit that same cliff everyday. Every day of her life... Years slowly went by, and she felt a great sense of longing in her heart. It was something she hadn't experienced before. She wanted him to transform into a wolf once more, and cuddle him in her arms...To feel his soft, smooth fur against her cheeks...To look at his sparkling blue eyes, full of delightful innocence... It's been ten long years. I hope he comes back. She needed him sooooo badly. Do I love him? Cha-cha asked herself. She knelt beside a clump of flowers near her, unintentionally sending all the butterflies away. Having plucked all the red ones, she braided them neatly into a crown. It reminded her that day she had to choose between the two would soon arrive, and so she had to come up with a choice, a very difficult decision that would mean betraying either one of them for the other. Reflecting about it made her feel guilty for being a princess. What about Shiine? A voice in her questioned. He's sweet, intelligent, good-hearted, thoughtful... Cha-cha, It would be selfish of you to want two people at the same time. Another scolded her mentally. Scenes of Shiine and Suzu flashed through her mind. But Suzu likes him...I guess he likes her too...so I think they'll make a good couple. Cha-cha smiled, feeling happy for the two, although it hurt her to lose Shiine. Riiya... "Riiya..." Cha-cha whispered almost inaudibly. Someone came up behind her, cautiously avoiding the direction the sun's rays touched the Earth, fearing he might be revealed to her too soon through a shadow. She looks so lovely. Riiya uttered in his head, eyeing the girl before him. She wore a dawn-tinted, ankle-length dress that emphasized her perfect figure. Her blonde hair, which had reached her waist already, was arranged with a rose-shaped clip and flowed in one particular direction Lastly, completing the garment was a pair of ivory-colored sandals her satin-soft feet slipped into. Like the goddess Joan brought back to life... He spotted something glisten at the corner of her eye, and as though melted diamonds dripped slowly, tears fell to her lap. Filled with sudden compassion, Riiya touched her smooth face gently and wiped her tears away. Dropping the crown of red flowers, Cha-cha gasped in surprise. She turned around to discover who it was. Before her was a young man with the same blue hair that belonged to the person she had waited for ten years. Her eyes ran down him quickly, looking at the broad shoulders suggested by a white shirt over it. His long limbs were covered by brown pants and black boots. She could hardly speak in shock. Riiya, is that you? "Yes, it is me, Cha-cha," he replied in a low voice, as if reading her mind. Cha-cha held his hand, and put it close to the right side of her face. Tears trickled down again. "You're back...I've missed you so much, Riiya." "Shhhh..." Riiya silenced Cha-cha, putting his finger over her scarlet lips. "Don't cry...I'll always be here..." "...from now on..." Leaning close, his lips met hers. Scribbles... I can't describe a kiss that well because... ...I haven't kissed/been kissed before (I'm NOT suggesting anything, you jerks!) ...a kiss has to be the perfect moment...but a perfect moment hardly happens... ...well, maybe in movies and cartoons and anime, but it is hard to describe and/or simulate such if the author cannot imagine it, bringing us back to the first reason... ...on second thought, it *is* possible because ACC *is* a cartoon...::heheh:: ...it's Riiya and Cha-cha we're talkin' about here, not Shiine and Cha-cha or Shiine and Suzu! I resent the fact that Cha-cha will more likely end up with Riiya rather than Shiine, which makes me wonder why I made this fic up!
