Urara Gakuen. This is the school Chacha, Riiya and Shiine attend together starting from the second episode. It was the same school Seravi and Dorothy attended. You'd probably like this school because the 'exams' consists of a 'game' of hide-and-seek. Then all you had to do was answer just one question correctly.
Seravi would only allow Chacha to enroll if she could complete the various tasks he gave her, all of which included magic. She messed up quite a few times but manages to win his approval... finally.
Principal Urara looks really timid. But she once beat up a powerful enemy that happened to be in the school.
He is not as mean as he looks. He is kind but does give off that "Don't mess with me" feeling. He cares for his students and even fights for them. He is in charge of Section Banana (you can laugh now... OK, now stop.) which is the class occupied by Chacha, Riiya, Shiine, Yakko and Suzu throughout the series.
Teacher Rascal has a personal vandetta with Teacher Maya. It seems as though they have been rivals since they were born. In one episode, Teacher Maya accused Teacher Rascal of being too easy on his students. This led Teacher Rascal to promise that everyone of his students (including the 'blur' Riiya) would pass the examination that they would sit for on that day. Teacher Maya actually likes Rascal; it's just that she has a funny way of showing it.
Teacher Bara Baraman teaches Section Apple, where Marin studies. Not wanting to leave Chacha with Riiya, she wanted to join Section Banana in the second school year. She wrote the school a letter ahead of time and drew a banana on it to stress that she wanted to be in Section Banana (so that she could be with Riiya, obviously) She didn't draw very well and her banana looked like and apple to the teachers!!
We first see Bara Baraman when Chacha and her friends were looking for Daimarou's castle. They found him in a garden full of beautiful flowers. Bara Baraman said that he had made a vow to take care of the flowers until he found his true love. But then we see him back at the school when the new school year started.
Bara Baraman's thorny skin make people stay away from him. His dream was to take part in a three-legged-race and was able to do so only after Seravi gave him a cupcake with some magic potion that would keep his thorns from coming out. His flowers could still sprout from his head and after 5 times, the potion would wear off. Chacha agreed to be his partner (after Marin faked indigestion) and they ended up winning the race.
Man you should see his house!! Everything is wrecked and/or full of thorns!
Riiya was the first 'victim' of Bara Baraman's 'thorn hug'!
We don't see her very much. She explained the rules of the Skating Contest of Magic. And at the end, she was trying to shoo away the starter gun! You gotta watch that one!! I'm not sure which section she teaches. We first see her as a substitute teacher for Teacher Rascal (who got hit by a truck!)
She has been a personal rival of Teacher Rascal's ever since they were born!! When they were babys, she punched Rascal and stole his teddy bear!! Well, their rivalry has continued into the school. She accused Rascal of being too lenient on his class. This led to Rascal vowing that everyone in his class, Section Banana would pass their exams.
Teacher Maya teaches Section Orange and she actually likes Rascal.
Probably the most easily recognised classmate. Jsut look for a big head.
Oscar was the first of Chacha's classmates to challenge her for the title of "The World's Greatest Magaician"
This guy is straight out of The Flintstones. Prehistoric with animal skin clothes.
Te first girl to challenge Chacha for her title. She was called simply 'Mary' in that episode, but Mary-Anne in the very last episode.
My friend thinks that Mary-Anne is the cutest girl in the anime. I really don't know what to think of that.
